Pool Season: The Pool opens the Saturday before Memorial Day (May 25th) and closes
for the season the Sunday after Labor Day (September 8th).
Normal Hours:
• Monday: 12:00 pm - 9:00 pm
• Tuesday - Sunday: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm

Private Swim Lessons
Swim lessons are offered by all swim coaches
at a rate of $25 per hour hour June thru Swim Team Season. After the season
many coaches remain available. Simply sign up by using the "Swim
Lesson" binder on the main pool desk counter. Priority is given to
Swim/Dive team members.

Situated on the beautiful private setting of the
back of the property adjacent to the Pool House/Fitness Center, our pool is the
perfect setting for kids to have a blast and parents to sit back and enjoy a
sunny summer's day.

 The 114-foot Waterslide
The 114-foot waterslide is one of the most popular activities at the pool for
both children (minimum of 48" tall) and adults. This slide is the only one
of its kind in Lexington and is sure to provide hours of entertainment for
children of all ages. A summer day at the Signature Club pool is just not
complete until you’ve taken your turn on the waterslide!
 Kiddie Pool & Whale Slide
The whale slide and kiddie pool are specifically geared toward our youngest
members. The kiddie pool has a zero-depth entry that graduate to 1 ½ foot
at its deepest point. In order to maintain a safe atmosphere for our toddlers,
the slide is only available to children 7 & under. The whale slide and
kiddie pool are located in close proximity to the bath house, which is
convenient for our moms and their young ones. Please keep in mind that children
who are not yet potty trained, are required to wear a “swimmy diaper”
at all times. These are available for purchase at the pool desk.

The Tree Deck is an ideal location to host your child's birthday during pool
season (Monday - Friday before 5pm)! The area is available for private use at
no cost to our members (sorry, not available to non-members) during pool
season. For more details and reservation information please contact Heather

may be taken starting May 1st - first come first serve basis.)
RESERVE THE TREE DECK (M-F before 5pm): Contact Heather Trump at The
Cellar by calling 317-8301 or e-mailing thecellar50@gmail.com and she can also
discuss your food & beverage details. NOTE: Outside food & beverages
are not permitted. (Reservations may be taken starting May 1st - first come
first serve basis.)
RAIN PLAN: Should the weather forecast rain you may consider discussing
with Heather a back up plan in The Cellar's "Lansdowne Room."
PARTY GUEST: Any individual attending the party (children & adults)
will be required to pay the daily guest fee. You will need to provide the MAIN
POOL DESK a list of guest attending so that a guest head count can be tallied.
Of course those attending that are members would be excluded from any guest
fee. Guest fees paid during a pre-scheduled party Monday - Friday (before 5pm)
will not go against the 25 allotted for a season. To learn more about our Guest

 Pool Front Desk
The Pool Front Desk is located at the main pool desk and is open during pool
hours. This is the primary location for member check in; however, there is a
second member entrance available from the upper parking lot.
If you have forgotten your sun screen, swim diaper for your little one, or
looking for a Signature Club apparel item, stop by and we can take care
of you.
Lost and found:
Located in a large blue wire basket located near the poolside event room, and
is cleaned out every two weeks. Smaller items may be found at the main pool
desk. We are not responsible for items left poolside, on lounge chairs, in the
locker rooms, bath house or any of the outdoor facilities.
Guest Fees
- Members have the opportunity to purchase 25 guest passes per membership per
pool season.
- An individual guest will be limited to come 6 times per season.
- Guest passes are purchased as needed at either member check-in gate by
paying the daily guest fee rate.
- Guest are permitted to utilize the pool, pool area and outdoor facilities
but is not eligible to utilize the Fitness Center or Group Fitness Studio and
its programs.

- We regret guest passes on these days are non-refundable as we have no
control of the weather.
 Life Guards
Professional Pool Management of Kentucky is the professional staffing and
management company for The Signature Club of Lansdowne pool, where safety is
our main concern. PPM of KY employees are trained in a number of different Red
Cross courses including CPR, Life-Guarding, First Aid, AED and Pool Operation.
PPM of KY consistently test their lifeguards through self-auditing and with
examiners outside our program. This on-site evaluation assures that our staff
is maintaining our pool facility to the highest standards at all times.
Pool Closure for Inclement Weather or Safety Reasons
The decision to close the pool is made by the Pool Guard Management Staff.
What options do members/guest have to go when the pool deck is cleared? When
the decision to close the pool deck is not too severe to wait out the break you
will have the opportunity to go behind the fence near the main pool check-in.
This will allow you to access and utilize the tree deck, grill area &
tables, the main locker rooms and pool office. You may also access and utilize
volleyball, tennis, basketball, play structure & Tiki (Tiki will remain
open based on the decision of food & beverage management of The Cellar).
NOTE: Please keep in mind to communicate with your children as to what your
"family plan" is when "Inclement Weather" happens and to
use common sense to seek shelter when weather becomes more severe. These areas
can be closed by management when weather becomes more threatening.
THUNDER/LIGHTNING: In the event of thunder/lightning the entire pool deck must
be cleared for 30 mins. No persons may remain on the pool deck. The life guard
staff will safely notify members and guests when this is necessary. Please
understand this is a Kentucky State Health Code and is in the best interest for
your safety.
HEAVY RAINFALL: The pool is closed when it rains so hard you cannot clearly see
the stripes at the bottom of the pool. If a person was on the bottom, a guard
could not be able to clearly identify anything on the bottom of the pool.
FECAL CONTAMINATION: In the event of fecal contamination, the pool may be
closed for a period of at least 24 hours depending upon the severity of the
contamination, in accordance with the CDC and NSPF to prevent cryptosporidium
and other fecal related diseases CDC's guidelines for treatment of contaminated
facilities (regarding unformed stool).
In the event that the pool has been closed, please know as soon as staff can
deem the area is safe and all safety levels are were they need to be the
pool/pool deck will be reopened. We regret guest passes on these days are
non-refundable as we have no control of the weather.
